The lady has a look on her face like she's having a vision of the horrors of the future that this new contraption will bring. The man is looking at it like the gears are turning and he's envisioning cool new shit he could do with this.

They're seeing the same thing stuff

they are both listening to Joe Rogan talk about how Mayans invented cell phones to a guest who is a former MMA fighter / pornstar who wrote an app that uses satellites to measure black peoples' skulls from space.
