Colonization is done by institutions and systems, not people
also to clarify, i understand that the Tamil genocide had origins in ideas of liberation from their oppressors. (similar situation with the Hutus before the Tutsi genocide too)
oh i'm referring to ppl that actively benefit from colonization. eg. settlers, colonial governors, other privileged members of a colonial system
I'm agreeing with you, you are attacking a person's position as an oppressor within the system which maybe up for some discussion (idk) but it's not a genocide.
oh yeah that was the point i was trying to make as a means of decolonisation
