When accusing someone of doing something, you have to back up your accusation with reasoning. You can't just say "grass is red" and if someone challenges you just say "well, that's just my opinion".

It's what an person would do if they were being honest. If someone's lying, of course they're not going to.
If you don't believe I'm honest about my opinion, oh well.

So all of them are sincere in their opinion that Elon Musk made a rape threat but I actually don't think it was a rape threat and am lying about it?
