what's with the conservative obsession about fracking regulations? I hear it with rank and file chuds in my life. as far as I know, the dems haven't really increased regulations, there was a dip in production in the lead up to 2020 because it wasn't as profitable as more conventional drilling methods, but from what I know, it's kind of come back.
Just a holdover of the "fossil fuels good, domestic jobs" crap. It's a romanticized "manly job"; modern day coal miner. And a few key states have a lot of profitable fracking so they keep their talking points in regular rotation
Because the debate was held in Pennsylvania where they love fracking despite the awful shit it causes
