You joke, but there are influencers tryling to convince people that vegetables are bad because they contain harmful chemicals.
Well they are known to contain dihydrogen monoxide, which is lethal to inhale in relatively small quantities.
It kills more people annually than almost any other chemical.
There are harmful chemicals in some vegetables. Solanine in potatoes, for example. Not enough to be dangerous though unless you ingest a truly remarkable volume of potato skin. The dose makes the poison, as they say.
