it was trash too, actually. Morrowind was the last good one, which is fitting since it's the first of that style of Bethesda games.
let me dream that they decide to care again, goddamnit
No
I think they are fun lol.
But Skyrim needs a new civil war mod. One where the people take power from the jarls. Call it, I dunno, "Civil war: the red army uprising".
Terrible writing, terrible mechanics (which, really, applies to both Morrowind and Oblivion, to be fair). Nothing notable about it.
Daedra quests and Dwemer ruins; Skyrim is (without any corrupting mods!) utter perfection
Yes
fuckin right.
I enjoy having my Roleplaying games to have roleplaying mechanics without having to find 300 mods to get them, wild i know.
although...Daggerfall, my beloved.
99% of Skyrim mods are dogshit and a waste of time
The updated vanilla game is a cornucopia of role-playing potential, embrace the contradictions of minimalism and imperfection
I never got around to finishing the main quest in Daggerfall. I should do that some day.
It's deliciously mixed into feudal politics and i adore it
