Someone with better CSS/UI skills than me will do it, and it will be fabulous! Just wait and see.

I wanted to clarify that the theme you select is tied to your user. While the site admin can set a default theme, you can go into your user settings and set whatever theme you prefer which overrides the default theme. Also, I don’t advocate the site should default to any one series specific theme, but stick with a generic one.

So one could set LCARS as their theme, or Picard, or SNW, or Discovery, and it would have no bearing on how others see the site. Of course someone needs to create all those themes, and the site admin needs to install them to make them available to everyone.

This does bring up a valid point about accessibility. Someone should definitely create some themes focused on accessibility.

Absolutely! I can’t believe I forgot to mention Cirroc Lofton when referencing The Visitor. 😅

I “cut the cord” many years ago, and instead installed an OTA antenna in my attic. There are still many stations even in my area that carry all these great shows, and I still have a lifetime sub TiVo I use to record anything new (or old) I might want to watch.

I suppose it sort of is a time travel episode?

Avery Brooks’ acting in that one is top notch either way.

I also suppose if we are counting it, then we should also discuss The Visitor. Tony Todd does such a great job as old Jake, and as a father myself, this episode hits the feels really hard. And then later Tony Todd is back as Kurn and there’s no way you could tell it’s the same actor, other than his voice.

There are so many good ones to choose from across all the shows. Since Past Tense and All Good Things have already been mentioned, I’ll say Time’s Arrow. The hook at the beginning of the episode is just too good. I mean,

spoilerfinding Data’s head in a cave on some random planet while Data is standing right there?

The whole scene with Mrs. Carmichael trying to collect rent… Mr. Pick-ard! Snake canes eating souls, Mark Twain, Guinan and Picard meeting…

Also, Little Green Men is a great one.

Yesterday’s Enterprise…

No, wait: it has to be Trials and Tribble-ations

Past Tense is such a well done two-parter, too. Having watched it again recently it’s a bit scary how close it came to reality…

Must… somehow… not see spoilers until I can watch it. Man this is going to be hard.

Had to be fast! Happy it was available.

No, that’s the Delta Quadrant.

Will you be updating lemmy-ui and the backend to 0.17.4? They have major database performance improvements.

I thought it was a Wendy’s.
