I was bummed when I saw it launched in a crappy state. I thought it looked really neat as well. From recent reviews it seems they have fixed a ton of stuff and are rapidly working on other things so I copped it. Hopefully I can finally play it this weekend.

I can’t stand the narrow FOV in first person games on console anymore (it gives me motion sickness) and this upgrade doesn’t seem to be enough to fix that. I don’t understand how Sony can be so tone deaf with nearly every decision. But I’m not surprised anymore. They just raised the price of the controllers too and the joysticks get stick drift after a while and the battery still isn’t replaceable.

This happens at the end of every expansion. When The Final Shape campaign dropped people were raving about it only a few months ago. Complaining escalates as the story wraps up and people run out of stuff to do. They also recently revealed that D3 is DOA and content creators have been pushing a doom and gloom narrative for the past few weeks as well. Bungle also just did more layoffs which tarnishes things even further.

If you treat it like your only game - you’re probably gonna have a bad time. Bungie wants it to be an MMO but once the story bits are complete it does get dull unless you’re a hardcore grinder. The new player experience is also hot dog shit so it’s almost impossible to get your friends involved. This is the tip of the iceberg though.

Therein lies the rub. There are places that give you most of the experience without needing to donate your first born but they’re becoming scarce.

if you wanna feel special go to a higher end restaurant where they don’t “auction” food. But even they use food runners. This actually lets the waiter give you more personal time ya dummy.

There was one with a deformed tail at work. Poor guy could barely swim. Other fish picked on him. I’d make sure to drop food so he wouldn’t have to swim as far. He outlived all the other fish.

I didn’t know it existed until a popular streamer begrudgingly “reviewed” it at the last minute. Found it strange that there was zero marketing for such an expensive and long developed investment.

Arvind regularly makes it clear in meetings that he doesn’t give a flying flip what the employees think or feel and that he knows best. So this is not shocking. He’s made similar bootlicker comments before. I’m sort of surprised more of his terrible takes aren’t made public.

Especially since it was largely a failure in the racing series it competed which at the time was dominated for years by Nissan.

it got me and my elderly dog in better shape. We were both lazy fatties before. Now we’re less lazy and somewhat healthier fatties.

I’m diagnosed. If I haven’t had coffee in a few days and drink a few strong cups it mainly drives up my anxiety and wakes me up a tiny bit. Then I usually crash hard. If I’ve had it for multiple days in a row, I can barely register any difference in how I feel at all. It definitely affects my resting heart rate though, so I try to keep my intake low. Eating a snack and staying hydrated is more affective at perking me up.
