Looks wonderful! I would certainly use the dark theme version if it was made available here on beehaw. 👍👌

FYI: several people have reported all their deleted posts and comments have been restored. Probably a waste of time to delete anything at this point, but it’s your time and use it how you wish.

I still use PHP extensively for a lot of my projects at work. It’s my favorite language.

I’ve been experimenting with rewriting one of my UI based reporting tools with Laravel (moving from slim/twig).

The fact kbin uses PHP piqued my interest there but I went with lemmy for my standalone instance anyway because I’d like to get familiar with Rust.

I’m also a YouTube premium user. I realize there are other ways to get around the ads, but I prefer supporting the services I enjoy using.

Interesting. I noticed similar behavior on https://startrek.website as well. I wonder if something else more global is going on?

Good day to all! Over the last 30 minutes or so, I’ve been having issues loading beehaw.org. Sometimes CSS is missing and the page layout is broken, and others there is a server side NGINX error.

Just wanted to make the admins aware this is happening. There are some NGINX settings that can be adjusted to make more threads available to NGINX if it is hitting a worker limit.

While YouTube, or any service, has bad users/channels, there are also many great users/channels for people with varying interests to enjoy. You can ignore the channels you don’t like, and get to watch some of the best content from regular people you’ve never heard of, who aren’t major television studios or corporations with an agenda. All they want to do is make videos of things they are passionate about.
