The idea games have to be always updated and eat your time. Not every game needs to evolve sometimes we just need something done well and that’s it. Not every game needs to be a mmo. A example is the assassins creeds games they are good but they made materials such a grind it’s a container mmo

Going off other comments as much as I love some games WOW which I didn’t even play that much compared to FF14 is an easy choice. Hardcore alone would consume the year cause of the adventures and threat of danger and risk and setbacks. If we got internet honestly that and a decent guild to chat with and I’ll be okay aside from the eye strain. Offline games honestly no idea I know a few that could eat a year but not many that I’d enjoy the entire time.
