The Arm & Hammer ones look kinda like a thick dryer sheet. Comes in a box about the size of dryer sheets too. Completely dissolve upon use.

It isn't very difficult to understand, or new. Usenet used a similar system of exchange between news servers, and before people had the Internet in their homes (pre- 1990s) BBS systems used RelayNet and FidoNet.
I refuse to buy water, therefore I use bar soap for my entire body
We started using bar shampoo and conditioner for the same reason. Tried a couple, settled on JR Liggett's. Also started using laundry detergent sheets.
And yet you still can't ask the device to locate someone.
Following a California and Taiwan earthquake?... sure.
