This violates the CCPA at the very least.

A crypto ATM maker and a Texas sheriff’s department are locked in a fierce legal battle after police seized cash from one of the company’s machines and handed it back to an 82-year-old woman who had been scammed into converting $15,000 into bitcoin.

This is great. More of this please.

303 2nd St is EXPENSIVE office space. I live about a block away and my old company used to rent a floor there. We were profitable and it was too expensive for us. If they get evicted a scant couple months after moving into the new space I will laugh my ass off.

As someone who came from a similar background and started on BBSs and Usenet, this is a very insightful post that I hope people internalize. The "enshittification" of what came before was a process that took a long time in many cases and with less of a factor of a specific group of people pushing a culture or taste this experience has a chance to grow into something completely different.

Everyone forgets that compared to Digg at the time Reddit was positively Byzantine. It was not a good experience, but we all moved there anyway.
