More like "Don't Violate MY Religious Precepts" Right Wingers are for the opposite of what this flag stands for

Waaaaaaaaa....... someone doesn't do exactly what I want done..... waaaaaaaaa but I'm unwilling to just do it myself..... waaaaaaaaaa......

I could have a BMI of 15 and still would not be able to wedge my 6'6" frame into that mobile postbox. Not everyone is a homunculus like yourself. Also, there is no conceivable way to use a toy with 10 inch wheels powered by three squirrels to pull an RV, boat, horse trailer, etc... There are other people in this world who have differing needs than yours. I realize this probably comes as a shock to you. You're welcome for being the one to so enlighten you.

Providing someone else money for a time to use for whatever purpose they desire is of no value? I think that literally most every person on the planet would disagree with you. Are you saying you've never borrowed money for anything, ever?

Then make and host your own instance and take those risks yourself. That's the power of the Fediverse.

The fuck is the whole point of the Fediverse. If an instance operator doesn't want to host something, you are free to sign up with someone who does or host your own instance and take those risks yourself.

And that means it's a scam today how exactly? The Bible was pretty explicitly against a lot of things. Are they scams? Is wearing two different fabrics a scam? Is eating shellfish a scam?

[–] rich8n@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Ok, but its archaic status as immoral does not make it a "scam" today.

But not the same volume of people. You'd have to grease me up pretty good to wedge me into that roller skate.

In what way is compound interest a scam? Who has been "scammed" by compound interest and how?

[–] rich8n@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Hehe, I'm spending too much movie time lately with my 5 year old. Sisu is the water dragon in Disney's Raya and the Last Dragon, and she constantly talks about her "power" being a very strong swimmer.

Lemmy needs to have the ability to assign both local and federated communities to specific user-defined lists so we can control how we consume similar content in the Fediverse. For example, I might be a Reddit refugee that's fond of the /r/patientgamers subreddit. But now i have many multiple *patientgamers communities across various Lemmy instances, Kbin, etc... I'd like to be able to create a /l/patientgamers list, assign all of the local or federated communities I want to that list, and then navigate to that list to consume all of the "patientgamers" content from across the fediverse in one feed. Mastodon has this, and it rocks.
