Towing at around its maximum rating in the cold, the range was indeed below 100 miles.

Most of the complaints seem to centre around it not looking at all like a house anymore. In fact some were referring to it as the "baseball home plate".
Another comment noted that the branching bears a striking resemblance to the USB logo.
The older simplified icon to my mind was perfect:

Not so much detail on the tree, but enough shape to still be recognisable as a house.
It's something like win-ctrl-f23
(Despite the physical buttons having been missing for a long time on regular keyboards, there are still scancodes for f13-f24)
For what it's worth too, the Windows "Powertoys" utilities have always been able to remap it.
