What book is so awful that it deserves a space on your shelf just for being so awful? in c/books@metacritics.zone

I'm mostly a library guy, check them out then return them. I don't even have many of my favorites on my bookshelf, let alone something I didn't like.

I will sheepishly admit that it was The Mission Earth series by L. Ron Hubbard. Note that I bought all them second hand, but still... It was ok overall I guess, took a few years to get through all of them as I wouldn't read one right after the other.
