PHP vs. Banana (files.mastodon.social)

orig txt:
PHP is still better than any JS ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ˜‚ credit https://turnoff.us/ #php #programming #development

Image description: This comic hilariously compares PHP and bananas:

  1. Can you eat it? Yes to the banana, no to PHP (unless you're really determined).
  2. Can it prevent cramps? Banana wins again! Not sure about PHP...
  3. Is it a great programming language? Well, that depends on who you ask...

TL;DR: Banana Triumphs!

Image description: Elon Musk & X @elonmusk โ€ข 42m Just bought a new PC laptop and it won't let me use it unless I create a Microsoft account, which also means giving their Al access to my computer! This is messed up. There used to be an option to skip signing into or creating a Microsoft account. Are you seeing this too? This is not cool of Microsoft.

@Soxxxe@digforfire.org He mostly uses Apple products and has mentioned Linux a few times, but he may needs to use some accounting or some crap software that only runs on Windows. So, he bought a Dell or Amazon laptop, hoping for a quick setup. He wants to keep his data private on that laptop, but Microsoft has other ideas, including AI that is forced on everyone. So now he set Microsoft on fire. Just too funny

Image description: In the first panel, there is a text box that says "THE SPACECRAFT MADE A HARD LANDING AND CRASHED. WE LOST ONE BILLION DOLLARS! I WANT TO KNOW WHY THIS HAPPENED!!!" In the second panel, a scientist says "UM, SIR! I THINK I'VE FOUND THE REASON!" There is a computer screen in the background that shows code with the line "if isLanding && false (".

Image transcripion: A tweet from @tekbog reads, "It's just sending one JSON from one service to another. How hard can it be?" The tweet is accompanied by a picture of a whiteboard with details on how to send one JSON from one service to another. This suggests that application development in the modern era can involve unexpected complexities for no good reason. Souce https://twitter.com/tekbog/status/1748436200602358135

Image description: The text contains the phrase "Hey! What's going on?" followed by the phrase "Sick bastard!". Below that is some code that appears to be related to password verification.

Image transcripion: shows a red sign with white text that says "STRICTLY NO ACCESS" mounted on a metal gate. The gate appears to be part of a fence around a park, with trees visible in the background but there is no fence around the gate or anywhere else
