Devastating article. It's hard to imagine such misery and suffering. I'll hug my family and stop worrying so much about insignificant nonsense. We're all obscenely rich in comparison to these poor people.

In just a few decades we will probably be able to ask an AI for a movie or a game, and it will make one to our exact specifications. in c/showerthoughts@lemmy.world

I don't care. At the end of the day I switched to lemmy beacause I couldn't be on reddit. I know we're all just getting started and it's hard to get content. I'm not gonna start complaining about reposting, it's better than the feed being empty..

Funding Ukraine is inherently a genocidal endeavour. If you want war to end and for Ukrainians to stop being killed, there's only one solution, and it's not telling Putin he's a meanie. in c/communism@lemmygrad.ml
