Agreed. I think this label appeals to these title writers due to the alliteration in Menopause and Moment. Maybe they should consider Menopause Momentum!

"Menopause is having a moment," according to The Daily. Pretty great episode! Check it out: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-daily/id1200361736?i=1000622626489

Thanks so much for your input! It's awesome the pill has helped with your insomnia! I've struggled with insomnia my whole life, and then peri happened, and now I have megaforce insomnia! :( I'd consider taking out the Mirena except that it is the only thing that has helped with my very heavy bleeding, another one of my terrible gifts from the peri gods.

Thanks so much for your input - I appreciate it! ❤️

Hey y'all, I've been boycotting reddit and don't have access to the Menopause wiki, so I'm hoping one of you lovely people can help me. I am perimenopausal (VERY), and I've been using the estradiol patch for a while along with the Mirena to manage my symptoms. I'm currently using the .075 patch. My doctor also prescribed Progesterone to take as needed for sleep (100 mg). My question is this; do I need to take the Progesterone pill daily, or is it fine to use it as needed for sleep, considering I am already getting Progestin in the Mirena? Thanks for your help!

My insomnia has also been somewhere between absolutely debilitating and just bad. Melatonin sometimes helps. I also have had some minor success with CBD/CBN tinctures. I use plenty of THC too, but the isolates of CBD/CBN are touted as more sleep-focused, and sometimes they help a bit. Have you tried allergy meds that cause drowsiness like Benadryl? Those kinda help me sometimes too. Insomnia is the devil! Good luck, friend!

Yes. Definitely. For the exact reasons you mentioned.

This is horrible. No one should treat you this way. I am so sorry this happened to you. I'm so glad you left when you did. I hope you can find a new gyno who treats you well.

Hey friend, I hear you. I have had a number of moments over the years, including the last few days, of not being able to take it anymore. So much joint pain, so much insomnia, so much sadness, so much shit! I cannot find relief from these debilitating symptoms, and many times, it just feels like too much. I'm turning 45 next week, I've been experiencing terrible peri symptoms since I was 37, and it all feels so unfair. When will it end? Why does it have to be so bad? Why is there so little help out there for us? I just want you to know you are not alone, and this shit is the worst. Hugs!

I was panicking when I couldn't find this on reddit but luckily did find my way here. Thank you for keeping us together! Y'all are the only folks who get me. <3 What's (somewhat) new for me is jaw pain and tension. It is driving me crazy. It has periodically been an issue for over a year, along with other joint pain and tension issues, but for over a month now, every single day, my jaw is tense as f*ck. It will not relax. I now this is a peri symptom for many people, and I'm hoping when my meno doc increases my HRT dose it will help, but I am losing my mind a little right now. Anyone else suffer with this one? Any tips?
