I don't think that will have the intended result.

I remember liking Paycheck when I saw it in theaters.

It's the logical extension of the idea that higher wages means less jobs.

Zero wages means no unemployment whatsoever!

And all you need to give up is human dignity, decency, and morals.

With the announcement the USA has completed its destruction of chemical weapons, I was reminded of this article explaining why nations seem willing to put an end to their use, but not cluster munitions or landmines.

CEO proof is a good reason to describe why I want my podcasts to come via an RSS feed instead of depending on an all-in-one app. I've often said things about open gardens and interoperable services, but that preaches to the choir.

"CEO Proof" really sells it to a non technical user.

I would very much like a world where upvotes and downvotes are not symmetric. As is we say total is upvotes minus downvotes, but in reality upvotes exist to say "good job" and downvotes should exist to say "this is spam or unnecessary"

A better system, IMO, would be to make downvoting closer to reporting, a little harder to do, but if the ratio of down to up passes a certain threshold, the comment is then flagged for review and/or just massively downgraded.

Oh, and you cannot do that to something you reply to. Either say "this is trash not worth engaging with" and move on, thus ensuring trolls do not get fed, or reply but acknowledge it was worth engagement.
