It's a monorepo for around 30 micro frontend projects (Vue.js / Angular / Svelte mostly) + some libraries packages.

I don't know what is the number of LoC but it's medium sized frontend projects (we are ~100 developpers on this projects)

I'm thinking of switching from VSC to VIM because VSC is too heavy in term of ressources usage.

Currently, I use the VSC + VIM extension and I'm pretty happy.

But nowadays, I avoid to open some monorepo projects because it takes too much time and I use the Github explorer instead. Also, I use the mouse too much.

So I finally took the decision to give a try to Neovim.

I initially started with SpaceVIM and it was a good experience. But there is too much magic for me. Also, I have the feeling to not learn VIM.

So I setup CoC with VIM-plug + NerdTree. It looks promising.

Do you have any tips for me?

You can do it without Spotify as well.

My point is, using downloaded album, you are sure to retreive what you listened X years ago.

There is librelingo but, honestly, it's far behind Duolingo.

The closest software I found is to use a flashcard tool (like AnkiDroid) and then search for an open deck of your language using AnkiWeb.

Doing so you get a similar experience than DuoLingo without the gamification and pretty UI.

I love Korean movies like

  • Last train to busan
  • Parasite
  • Oldboy

And the incredible soundtrack by Hans Zimmer.

For sure, Spotify is convenient but you own nothing and you locked with a subscription. Also, you listen what they propose. What happens if your favorite band become removed from their library?

I still buy few albums and keep my library of audio files. (And I get some album for free using the same methods we used back in the days 😏)
