I might be talking out of my arse, but you could bring a toothpick with you and try removing any fluff/grime from the socket before plugging in. Worked for my phone when the usbc charger wasn't secure.

Being told by a local sew and stitch shop that it'll be 15 quid to shorten a polo shirt that only cost 20 quid in the first place. in c/britishproblems

I hate to say it, but first world problems. It costs a fraction of what it should cost to produce the item of clothing. Or just capitalism.

I got rid of the custom ones as I still got crashes, even after disabling the 2 options - shuffle/wake movie.
