In most instances, a Noctua fan should outperform the majority of fans that come pre-installed with your case.

I love this. I think someone in SF was interested in buying it and was finding other investors to join him. But I think letting the workers own it would be the best outcome.

Thanks for showing me a new word! “Verisimilitude” seems useful.

Never underestimate a persons susceptibility to outrage and anger in the pursuit of fulfilling boredom, feeling some sense of purpose or even in response to some type of insecurity.

Interesting. Never heard of this before. What specifically is it supposed to help with? The energy boost or the anxiety?

The Reddit Pedantic-Olympics are starting up again…

I don’t know why internet commenters think it’s such a zing to “correct” someone when it’s quite obvious what they mean.

The dumbest part about this is that if you force people to complete it, they’re more likely to select a random option and click “next”. Any information they get from this survey will be mostly useless.

But you just know he has people that are on the payroll specifically to advise him and develop strategy. Either they’re surrounded by yesmen or they’re too arrogant to listen to the people they pay for advice. Okay, it’s probably both.

Thanks, I’m trying to work on being less rash overall. It’s easy to pick fights with people on the internet over any dumb thing but I feel like it starts to mess with your core personality after a while.

I understand the spirit of this comment but I think it’s pretty clear that the person you’re replying to is simply trying to offer helpful advice in fairly neutral tone.

And it is the correct advice. A mattress doesn’t cost less simply because it’s softer it certainly doesn’t cost more just because it’s firmer. Budget aside, there is definitely a degree of personal choice when choosing a mattress.

I see a lot of people asking for a P4 remake and im not exactly against it, i just don’t know what they could really do that would warrant an entire re-release. P4G is probably the most modern feeling game in the franchise besides 5. Other than the same annoyances that most VN games and even P5 still has, it still feels like a game that holds up today.

Divinity Original Sin 2 is exactly what you’re looking for.

Baldurs Gate 3 will be out soon and is in early access. Check it out after DOS2.

I know that Battlefield 2042 is somewhat of a black sheep in the franchise, but I think that it’s “Portal” servers is one of the best additions.

Portal allows people to spin up their own servers with custom rule sets, scenarios and maps and weapons from across the BF franchise. For example, this video from JackFrags shows a match that plays entirely different from the fast paced and much higher TTK vanilla BF2042.

With BF2042 on sale, I would encourage people to give it a shot, if not just for the Portal servers. There are some genuinely awesome experiences to be had there and it can only get better with more players.

I’m going to be starting my first semester in a graduate program that will take me three years to complete.

After applying my scholarship funds for this semester, my remaining tuition will be $12k per semester. Student Loans are around 6%, with interest accruing immediately.

I have currently have a 401K with around $14k saved. I am in my mid 20s and will hopefully be back to work after this program.

  1. Is it possible to roll this over to an IRA and take a withdrawal from the IRA to pay my first semesters tuition, all while avoiding any penalties for early withdrawal?
  2. Is this the best way to do this?
  3. Is it even a good idea to touch this money?

It’s 1 semester out of 6 total, but that would be $12k less I’d have to pay to borrow.

Thanks.
