honestly, it was a year ago and I don’t remember specifics, I just remember there was transphobia from mods and screenshots to back it up.

I also remember the admins here “forgave” an admin named snow or something (from programming.dev, I think?) for his transphobic responses to a hexbear user, and users here even talked about how hexbear users must be faking transness because they don’t act the same way liberal (conservative) trans people do.

also, I don't see how blahaj could be seen as not hard enough on transphobes :p

iirc the 196 comm had at least one transmed/truscum mod at the time of defederation, plus admins for Blahaj Zone refused to condemn an admin from another instance who said some transphobic shit, including accusing a Hexbear user of pretending to be trans for internet sympathy points or some bizarre shit.

weird non sequitur to the topic at hand but ok.

Isn’t hexbear like, one of the “transphobe” ones?

the opposite, actually! Hexbear is rabidly supportive of trans people, and defederated from Blahaj Lemmy over its comparatively lax handling of transphobia.

I really want to watch it but it left theaters here after like a two-week run.

it's worth noting that CFA stopped donating to queerphobic organizations awhile back, has a DEI department now, and is one of the few fast food chains not on the BDS boycott list for Palestine. like I get that hating on 'em is a meme but they have good fries and are less problematic than half the other fast food chains at this point...

the cool thing is these are turret-grade autocannons, not the shoulder-fired version, so they have enough armor pen and damage to handle even heavies given enough hits.

Surely some action by the Biden administration is far enough beyond the pale to make you look for a different option, right?

many liberals do not have a cutoff point here. if Democrats were having people executed in the streets, they would argue that more people would be executed in the streets under Republicans, so leftists who don’t vote Democrat are morally bankrupt and effectively on the side of the Republicans.

oh, wait, that’s literally their argument for this election, it’s just that said streets and people happen to not be the good ol’ US of A.

Helldivers is Sony IP, not Arrowhead IP, so no, Arrowhead can’t just release another game in the series without Sony’s involvement.

Yeah, I really do not envy OP her Christianity; I'm so glad I was mostly over that phase of my life by the time I started examining my gender and realizing I wasn't just depressed, but dysphoric.

EDIT: To clarify, absolutely not saying Christianity (or any religion) is "just a phase" for everyone. Just that it certainly was for me, and I'm happy to be past it and to have partially dealt with the trauma from it.
