Just wish Zen adds small details/features like Arc team does. Small details/features are crucial in the early stages of the project.

1blocker or Adguard (I had more success with 1blocker). NextDNS for blocking trackers.

Edit: 1Blocker also blocks trackers.

You are right. However most of the mainstream YouTubers promote rubbish password managers, which is why most people I know don't know about bitwarden. I usually recommend bitwarden or proton pass. (I'm self-hosting vaultwarden). More privacy focus YouTubers need to promote bitwarden, keepassxc etc. (I'm waiting for proton pass self-hosting option).

Thanks for the heads up.

Without suggestions/predictions and auto-correction it’s unable especially for a lazy user like me. Hopefully someone makes extensions for them.

Any news on the tab groups? Also, anyone mind sharing a GIF or a small clip of the vertical tabs?

Have they implemented the update option yet, or does it still rely on unofficial methods for updating?

I wonder how good it is compared to shelter

Flow Launcher is way more powerful, customisable and has plugins support. Power toys run is pretty limited. With flow launcher you can direct search internet queries with your favourite search engine.

Thanks for clarification. That always bugged me.

A Marriage Made in Hell: An Introduction to Microsoft’s Complicity in Apartheid and Genocide

Executive summary

The purpose of this primer is to publicly expose Microsoft’s complicity in Israeli apartheid and genocide against the people of Palestine, and to connect technology workers to the No Azure for Apartheid campaign. Introduction

We are No Azure for Apartheid, a group of technology workers within Microsoft and its subsidiaries seeking to expose and condemn the specific technologies complicit in the ongoing apartheid and genocide in Gaza, the West Bank, and Palestine as a whole. We are part of the broader No Tech for Apartheid movement, which began with opposing Project Nimbus at Google and Amazon. With Microsoft leading advances in AI technology, we, as Microsoft employees, are morally obligated to guide the ethics and lasting ramifications of these technologies for the future.

Trying to discover new/unheard Linux desktop programs (Sorry for the confusion).

Edit: I apologise for confusing a lot of people. I meant Linux desktop “programs” coming from Windows/Mac. I'm used to calling them “apps”.

Edit: 🙌 I’m overwhelmed with the great “programs” people have recommended in the comment section. Thank you guys.

Hey folks, I just got Bazzite OS KDE up and running on my PC. Being a Linux newbie, I'd love some tips, tricks, and app suggestions if you have any. 😅 Switching from Windows has been a bit of a maze with all the distros out there, so any pointers would be awesome!

The amount of tutorials out there is overwhelming. Hopefully 🙏 you guys point me in the right direction.

Edit: That is a lot of great information. I really appreciate you guys taking your time to share your experience/advice.

Even though this question has probably been asked countless times in other communities, I still want to know: what tool do you think comes closest to ShareX? I'm particularly interested in features like image capture, video recording, GIF creation, and OCR reading all in one tool for Linux.

I know Firefox has a Split View feature; however, it’s not as convenient as Vivaldi or the Arc browser. I love how The browser company implemented the Split View screen. Firefox Split View is pretty limited, and I’m unsure if it has improved since its release.

What does the community think about that?

Here is an example of Arc browser split view:
