You make a good point. Since this was the most popular way of building wealth, the middle class was dependent on this. Since one of the strengths of any economy is buying power, and if a large number of consumers cut back because of a loss on their investments, that would hurt the economy.

I think I agree with your main point that it won't hurt the Chinese economy by a large degree because of how it is structured.

Unfortunately, the reason why these were built, and who funded them are different from your assumptions.

They were funded by private Chinese individuals as a way of investing. Because of the way that the Chinese economy works, there are not analogous investment opportunities as to the states. Since these are funded by private citizens, they are the ones that will lose their investment if the units aren't filled. If it was the state taking the loss, I would agree with you that it wouldn't matter.

I did not know this existed, but I'm going to watch it now!

I am currently playing through it, and it has some of the best moments gaming has to offer. You don't normally see such a specific voice in games narratives these days. I have been really enjoying it.

I'm currently in a swing state, and I really enjoy getting the postcards. It makes me feel a little less alone in the sea of red.

If you access Google maps from Alabama, they will still say martin Luther King day or Robert e Lee day.

Skillup started the video saying that other people can have other opinions on the game. He didn't like the combat, the art style, or the new tone. Those are all subjective things that other people could have enjoyed. Purely just in the video, he talked about how he didn't like the necromancer character, but every clip he showed I liked. It's just different tastes.

Yeah, because the market went from having the opinion of "I'm 80% sure that Tesla is going to do this robo taxi, automaton thing" to " I'm 65% sure that Tesla is going to do this robotaxi, automaton thing". Things are rarely all or nothing with the market.

He's openly talked of rounding up illegal immigrants, and changing the laws about what makes immigrants legal. If he acts on even half the threats he has made, a lot of people are in danger.

All comic book writers do interviews before their series come out. And I'm sure that a competent writer is only going to give a character strengths that match with the challenges they are planning to put them up against.

I really love these games. I like the silly little puzzles with the good music and art. The lack of story never really bothered me because every single person you meet is so unique looking that it enables a lot of people-watching imagination on my part. I just think they're neat :)

It's an older comic,
