I don't know man i think Nazi were allowed to go crazy because most and/or influential people found it beneficial in the time and place. It didn't happened everywhere. Just as communism etc.

Not that it matters with banning NSFW content. I've never got why would people access that via forum anyway.
But i can imagine banning news for posting from sources that are not inline with admins visions or banning science and technology community for being very religious and vice versa if you know what i mean.

There needs to be some sort of cross server account management so that users dont loose subscriptions. It would also be nice when opening de-federated community sub, it would simply forward user to their sever.

I'm in awe, I've moved recently to this multiverse and it's so much more fluent. I can even use post formating in Firefox and both mobile app and mobile browser just work so fast.
Also no more of "sorry something went wrong", "use app", being unable to reply without restarting or slow loading.

I agree it's not effective. But any protest shouldn't be wild thing that puts everyone involved into dark.
Announcing it and planning it so it sends message but isn't making everyone life worse than needed, is proper way to do it.
If it's not effective, just do it again for week/ month / move your subscribers elsewhere / etc ... but let everyone involved know an keep it civil. Bad guys will reveal themselves along the way.

In this regard, IMHO those who participated didn't do it wrong way but those who didn't listen wronged the community as whole.

Rossman was correct in one of his videos. Community gotta stuck together and not fight each other, that's the only way to fight those power hungry companies.

I agree decentralized internet is good. Many small competitors are better than one huge mobidick that can't see it's own tail anymore so. it rolls over anyone in the way.

True story. It requires proportion close to "Bud light boycott" to scare them out. But it's good thing that there will be more alternatives right now.

They will learn in time, eventually they will try to solve it by investing into "political correctness" filters and ruin what's left of what used to be prospering community.

Right? just voicing neutral opinion gets them "redditors" gang bang on people and I've also seen people saying that they agree just to get aggressive response by commenter they agreed with. Like why?
Too many go to argue on reddit and not enough go there to actually have civil discussion.
