My current theory is that it is priced the way it is because they don't have the supply chain to currently manufacture en-masse. I think it will be sold out at launch and continue to be sold out for a long time.

I think it's probably being pushed by the people who invested in Reddit to make it go public so they can sell shares / cash out. But this is just my opinion

(Ranked) Appropriate amount of RP lost if you finish >10th place? (lemmy.world)
 

It looks like Respawn is dead set on keeping the RP system the way it is for ranked, but I think they should increase the amount of RP that you lose for finishing greater than 10th place.

In my opinion, it might be a good change to lose something ridiculous like 250 RP if you finish above 10th place, because right now it seems impossible to de-rank. Sounds like a crazy number and I chose 250 randomly, but the point is that it should -hurt- your RP to finish above tenth.

What do you think? Would this just encourage more ratting than what already exists?
