At least 2500 deaths in the mediterranean this year. Why 5 more deserves a post in !worlnews@lemmygrad.net ? /Rethoric question
The corpse of Francisco Franco was moved out of the Valle de los Caídos in 2019. The transfer was carried out with the honors of a head of state 🤢🤮.
It's quite evident that Israel's goal is the eradication of Palestinians
Yes. Why is this post downvoted?
Sorry, but that's bullshit. The members of the International Brigades came to Spain to fight against fascists, not with them.
Also, I was only aware of lefties going as volunteers with the Donbass Republics in the Ukrainian Civil War (2014-????), at least until Russia escalated the civil war into an open war. Before then, I only heard about fascists going to train with their friends in the Right Sector or Azov.
The link open other article from july. I think that this is the right link https://www.aljazeera.com/gallery/2023/9/11/deadly-flooding-in-eastern-libya-after-weekend-storm
I strongly disagree with this article. The only rationale socialist approach to this conflict is NO WAR, BUT CLASS WAR.
Supporting the imperialist US it's a nonsense. Supporting Russia (imperialist or not) is opportunist, the fact that it's confronting the US in this proxy war it's not enough reason to support it, at least in my opinion. Also, the direct consequences of this war are:
- A huge increase of military expenditure of the US block (NATO) and a lot of that money will be transferred from the Imperial periphery (non US NATO countries) to the core, i.e.: to the US military industry.
- Increased racism, fascism, chauvinism, and militarism in European countries (also Russia).
The only positive is that the BRICs and non-alienated countries have not supported the Western imperialist narrative. But being able to know this is not worth a war.
You can export your mastodon user to other instance. There are plenty of them that have started to block threads.
I don't think so. It seems that many historians thinks that there are not evidence of the existence of Jesus outside biblical documents.
Here you can find an in-deep response on r/AskHistorians about it.
