I don’t understand. You think Factorio is visually not pleasing but Mindustry is? Are you for real?

I didn’t know milk could age this quickly.

I 100%ed it and had a blast. But you don’t have to 100% a game if you don’t have fun anymore. You can easily just finish up the story and be happy with what you got.

I think this is more a fault on the person playing the game than the game itself. If it was any less expansive then I’m sure there would be people wishing there was more to do in the game they like.

Damn, I think I just remembered one too. There’s a certain Tool song…

You’re probably talking about pop/rap? Because I’m pretty sure that there isn’t a single song in my music library that mentions products/brands.

Thank you for the work you put into this.

A suggestion if you don’t mind: Use headings and bullet points to structure the text and make it easier for the reader (and maybe yourself) to take in the information. As it is it’s a wall of text that is hard to parse.

Have been using it on the side for a couple of weeks now and it’s pretty nice. Hope they don’t fuck it up, I could see myself using it as my main browser in the future.

It hasn’t been that long since people called Apple products overpriced and pointing to spec sheets/benchmarks to ridicule the price/performance ratio. Now the tables have turned with Apple’s chips, so pick up a mirror and have a good hard look.

With that said everyone should just stop with the fanboying/fangirling and just use whatever the fuck they enjoy/gets the job done.

If yes, which word(s) and how does it manifest?

(I’ll leave mine as a comment)

I’m just looking for a simple 2D floor planner that is easy to use and has the ability to show measurements.

The two most recommended open source tools I’ve seen have shortcomings.

Sweet Home 3D:

  • Very 3D centric, which over complicates things.
  • Project was recently acquired/handed off to a company and the iOS version is published by “AI Photo Editor Lab SRL”

draw.io / diagrams.net:

  • Very finicky to set up and create floor plans
  • To display measurements one has to add measurement objects to every wall/object

Does anyone have other recommendations?

I’m looking for a way to keep an eye on open source software I’m using, especially if there are detrimental changes. Like for example when there’s an acquisition (Raivo Authenticator) or the project has not been updated in a long time (potentially posing a security risk).

But I don’t want to have to read about every project, just the ones I’m using.

Anyone got any ideas?

Does anyone know why there are no dedicated Authenticator apps made by for example Proton or Bitwarden?

I’m aware that they have TOTP baked into their password managers but you still need to have at least one separate solution to log into your vault.

Is there a Lemmy app for iPad that has split screen like Narwhal for Reddit had? Post list on the left, content/comments on the right side.
