Bedford Borough Council says its actions following an upheld complaint shows a willingness to “learn from its mistakes”.

 

A winter night shelter in Bedford will provide up to 2,000 beds and 4,000 meals across 100 nights this winter.

The strategy aims to support the freight and logistics sector whilst minimising the negative impacts movements can have on residential communities, and to encourage freight movements to be as sustainable as possible.

The Freight Strategy will be out for public consultation for 6 weeks.
