Okay, suppose we have an Isekai Quartet moment but with school anime a million years from now. Here are the anime who get isekai'd into an elite school:

  • Light Music Club (K-On!)
  • Service Club (Oregairu)
  • Classics Club (Hyouka)
  • Outdoor Activities Club (Laid-Back Camp)
  • Pastimers Club (Asobi Asobase)
  • Host Club (Ouran High School Host Club)
  • Art Club (This Art Club Has A Problem, Blue Period)
  • Board Game Club (Love is War)
  • Occult Club (Jujutsu Kaisen, Asobi Asobase)
  • I'll include Nichijou, Daily Lives of High School Boys, and Bocchi the Rock! for good measure.

How would you imagine interactions between characters would be? Personally, I can imagine the Pastimers Club and Board Game Club eventually merging at some point (after all, Olivia likes pastimes, as well as Chika).

As much as I am a fan of Spy x Family and Violet Evergarden, they are more for more mature audiences as they have quite the adult themes. Violet Evergarden is set in a war world and although the story is not set in the war itself, the flashbacks (especially THAT scene during the attack on the fortress) are nonetheless too violent.

Spy x Family might seem like a wholesome family anime but it has underlying political and war themes. Bond's arc as well as Yor's assassination techniques in Ep 2 is something that I would not really recommend to a nine year-old kid. There's car explosions and use of dogs for warfare

So what generalist community does the light novel community belong to? /c/literature, /c/novels, /c/books?

I have already seen a manga community here, but I wonder if there's a light novel community here already. Thanks!

EDIT: The manga community's link is !manga@lemmy.ml

I believe Oshi No Ko's community is on lemmy.ml, as well as Sword Art Online's (I think SAO's !swordartonline@lemmy.ml?)

So far I've seen Bocchi the Rock, Sword Art Online, and Oshi No Ko, and the BTR one seems to be the one with the most engagement so far out of the three

You definitely got a new subscriber here! I use Obsidian for my worldbuilding and it's neat!

Then the catchphrase of Lemmy then will be: Lemmy share my thoughts
