For easy drinks (beer, wine, or simple liquor/ soda mixes), $1 is fine. If they have to bust out a tool like a muddler or peeler, you should probably give more than $1.

I like the idea of Secret Service enrichment activities being exactly like dog enrichment. They just release a bunch of Government mooks into a room with some of those doggie treats puzzles, but I stead of beggin strips, it's full of domestic terrorists addresses.
It was right in the first paragraph of the article.
"...deploying corps members to work in wind and solar production as well as environmental conservation projects."
So yes, it (should be) more than just trail work.
This is incredible news! While 20,000 is fewer jobs than I would have liked, it's still 20,000 more people that are fighting to save our planet than we had before. Plus all those jobs will provide income to all those people and families, and they'll be able to recirculate those funds to their local economies. I bet this program will generate more income than it's cost over the long wrong, and that not even counting all the monetary savings that a more stable (or at least slower changing) climate will bring.

If the UAW can get a 32-hour week, that would be a MASSIVE step in getting it done for the rest of the work force. It would be a perfect example of how unions benefit all workers, not just the ones actually in the union.
He also co-hosts a podcast called "The Climate Deniers Playbook" that you might might like as well. There are only a few episodes out, but they're all great.
I thought the UAW wasn't threatening to strike until the end of the week?
Then why say anything?
So it sounds like your dad is right?
