I play MC like that, You can use mods to implement a type of login where players have to make a password for their name and have to login with it each time they connect. this wouldn't help with players joining with different names as ban evasion but no one could pretend to be another player without their password.

I wish I was born in europe rn lol. tbh with india's population the gov could try something similar and apple would likely comply to not lose a huge amount of potential consooomers. Isreal is not spying on india. Indian government brought spyware software(Pegasus) from israel and is using it to spy on journalists and opposition parties. Allegedly of course.
