I didn't say it brought USA into the war, I said it was what kicked off ww2 and it was the fault of the soviets + nazi germany.

You are correct, but you misunderstood me, or I wasn't clear enough.

Edit: I was not clear enough, I edited my post. In my mind the two things were separate, I just didn't have the writing skills.

I just can feel the clickyness of it, but maybe hammering away at it daily wouldn't be so nice...

Good idea about the keycaps though! My keyboard has cherry browns so maybe I can make a look-alike ... Hmm...

Will do thank you Graphy!

IIRC there are at least two OSRS? But I guess one is the main one or so, so I'll jump on that one, thanks!

Heard about the ribbentrop molotov pact?

That was what kicked it all off.

I read it around 1990 and it was an ok thriller, with a somewhat unique play (world war and all) or so I felt back then. Doesn't really remember anything noteworthy except the russkies would have won if they hadn't been like unlucky IIRC (some spy stepping out in the street in front of a car, having like the attack plans or something). The people were totally forgettable.

So yeah, a nice read back then but that's about it.

Which one do you recommend? There are several oldies right?

I started one some months ago, but changed PC...

Interesting thing that Chord stuff.

Sounds like a good little tool to have there, it's always hell to share stuff among computers and phones and stuff! Guess overwriting from one side to the other (and vice versa) would be hell to fix in a user friendly manner though... If you don't go for a master/slave system, or git repo style...

It's a British/French coop, but I don't know if any Americans or their parts are involved in it. I heard the general commander of europe (who is historically an american, and we have the NATO head guy) said no.

If anyone knows better, I'd love to know!

Hello, I'm Valmond creator of the Tenfingers sharing protocol & implementation.

To make it more motivating for people to try it out, what should I share to showcase its abilities? It can be rougly anything up to say a gigabyte.

I'm thinking about music, video, parts of wikipedia, ...

Legal of course.

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Cheers & thanks!

The russian puppet.

Hello everyone!

Sometimes when I post on lemmy.world I get an automod post saying my comment was removed for civility.

Sure, maybe I treated someone a russian bot or a comrade, but I don't think I'm very un civilized, so I'd like to know what was it that crossed the line.

So I'd like to know which post was actually removed, is there a way? I'm on Connect and I have clicked all over the automod post without success... it just states a post was removed.

Also, I see no post being removed (could have missed that ofc)?

Cheers

Hello and thanks for making this community!

I would like to ask a question, I'm the creator of the Tenfingers sharing protocol, and a decentralised FOSS implementation of it.

You can basically have a decentralised web site or share data with anyone.

Would it be appropriate to post asking for help here? Testing and ideas for the future mostly I guess.

Cheers
