We have a company like that here somewhere. When they have one job a year, they have to reduce hours, if they have two, they are doing OK, and if they have three, they have to work overtime like mad. Don't ask me what they are selling, though. It is big, runs on tracks, and fixes roads.
Treczoks
I remember a pull-down with "English" and a UK flag and "English (simplified)" with a US one.
Maybe he should actually ask the country about it. Or he just confuses a quick poll among his friends with the will of the country.
OK, time to make a shopping list:
- Popcorn
- More popcorn
- A head of lettuce
- A blonde wig
- A pair of googly eyes.
Wrong sales pitch. Should have been "A new and innovative way to cut corners"
Nice to see a significant upgrade on computing and GPU power.
What irks me is that it still does not have a native M.2 or similar slot. And that you need a HAT for either running it with an M.2 or POE.
Another issue is the PSU. It has 27W, which means about 5A at 5V. How much does the RPi and the core parts (fan, M.2 hat+stick) use, and how much will be left to "feed" the USB3 ports?
Edit: Just another thing I just saw: They offer 4 and 8GB models at the start, and I though: Well, maybe they will do bigger models later. Does not look like it, though: It has four config resistors labeled 1, 2, 4, and 8GB.
While it is a waste, it is necessary not to let things like that slip. They built something they did not have a permission for, as simple as that. Just like when you decide to expand your home with an annex without a permit.
They got permission to build a house based on plans A, and actually built a house based on plans B. And by the looks of it, we are not talking about the building being 5cm to wide in one direction (which had led to a tear down order here in one case), but quite a number of massive violations.
Well, they had a good plan that they got permission for to build. It is not the council's fault that they actually built something else.
Just like any meetup of whatever fans, just get a proper location and, if necessary, permissions. Well, and don't speed on the way to or from the meeting...
Stupid woman. Either the kid does not know what they are and will most likely ignore them. Then the mums sudden action will create curiosity about the reasons for those actions. And you know how kids are when parents try to hide something. Or the kid indeed knows what they are, well, this puts an interesting spotlight on the kids home and the parents private life, doesn't it? "Look, mom, that's the one you have, but in red!"
