Be Here Now
I'm lying a little, because I don't think it's crazy. But I do think it would be considered crazy. It's a book which is unconventional in appearance.
It's written by Ram Das, AKA Dr. Richard Alpert, a Harvard psychologist who, early in the history of the subject of psychology, became enamoured with psychedelics, together with others of his academic comrades. A nice book. Still gets me high in the right setting.
Probably the right answer. A unique description of a frightening place that has existed throughout human literature.
