I actually think its a major problem. I joined lemmy.ml because I could create a community. Now suddenly that has been pulled from under my feet. Essentially unless I run my own instance, I am at the whim of whatever someone want to change at any time.

Ok interesting. Its lemmy.ml.
There is no create community icon. If I go directly to the create community page which I found by googling for it, it says “only admins can create communities”.
How do you create a community? I dont even have the option.
The app is starting to look pretty functional right now. Thanks for the effort.
For some reason the lemmy instance I chose disabled it so I have had to abandon lemmy.ml and go somewhere else. Stupid.
