We’ll let you experience Q for yourself then shall we?

Linus is a Saurian recurring crew member on Discovery as of season two.

@stamets@startrek.website will be incenting you to catch up before the final season premieres in 2024. 😏

Seems like we’re trending with @stamets@startrek.website’s request for Linus @stephfinitely@lemmy.world.

But I stand ready @The_Picard_Maneuver@startrek.website to bring you Harcourt Fenton Mudd (and his divine Stella Grimes).

. . . and so we, step by tiny step, lure yet another one in.

Stella Grimes and her father appear briefly in “Magic to Make the Sanest Man Go Mad.”

It’s the only Discovery season one episode that stands on its own without the serialization, although Mudd himself appears in an earlier one. He also is the focus of a wonderful Short Trek written my Mike McMahan. All strongly recommended.

Such a fetching couple.

And yes, I am read/willing to not only post Mudd memes, but to feature the happy couple in some Migleemo-Hemmer supported therapy.

I was really impressed by that. Really felt it belonged on a cinematic feature.

Going to be that person and suggest the OP try Voyager.

It seems to be the most accessible of the older shows for younger, newer viewers. It was the most watched of all the classic shows on Netflix.

It covers all the classic tropes and provides endless fodder for memes here.

It’s uneven throughout its entire run, but also has some of the very best episodes ever. New fans really attach to the characters, and there’s no refuting that it unabashedly leaned into the weird.

Says a lot that she can look so great with the full muppet wig.

Not sure I have much more to add at present.

I do have a related profile on Mastodon however and follow Trek folks who are active there.

So, if you’d like I could keep filling in for that platform as others join or get active.
