This may be from a different angle, but here are two games about grief:
Spiritfarer
That Dragon: Cancer
Reply All did a truly heart-wrenching episode on the second one.
Quichequeen
Which is why she’s no longer beloved here!
It’s so bizarre to think she was once a beloved local news anchor. https://web.archive.org/web/20210302174905/https://eu.azcentral.com/story/entertainment/media/2021/03/02/arizona-news-anchor-kari-lake-leaving-fox-10-phoenix/6885160002/
When I clicked on the image, I thought that it had taken me to Reddit and my mobile was warning me against viewing Reddit! I was like, “Thanks, phone!”
Day of the Tentacle! Going from Maniac Mansion on the NES to the graphics, voice work, and interactivity on this CD-ROM - I’m still in awe decades later.
Anyone ever listen to the Bee Gees earlier stuff, before the disco days? https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=0QTQdAKUZmA

I technically still have social media accounts, but I don’t use them (other than to access info I can’t without them, like my neighborhood’s announcements). I used to be more active on social media - even had a Friendster account, to give you history here! - but the algorithm interference has taken all joy out of it. Plus, conversations with strangers are less often in good faith, so I’m more reluctant to engage because if I get a response it’s 50/50 whether it will be worthwhile and civilized. Too many trolls, too many people trying to platform themselves, too much algorithm interference. I used to learn so much and have such fun online, but I’m pretty skittish/jaded/burnt out.
Good. This guy is a monster. The Evil by Design podcast did a deep dive on him, and it is a rough listen.
