Do you even math? $1,000 for every person on earth is about $8,000,000,000,000 (that's 8 Trillion). That's 57x Bezos' net worth. But about half of Jeff's net worth is tied up in Amazon stocks that can only be sold in small amounts, so that money is largely untouchable. Even assuming the other half of his net worth is liquid, you'd need to completely pillage 114 Jeff Bezos to give everyone on earth $1,000.

No. You could fit the entire human population (8 billion) into Texas and each person would still have 925 square feet (86 square meters) to themselves.

I've been using FairEmail (Android only) and everything just works, including search.

I got downvoted into oblivion for bringing demographics & geography into a discussion about mass transportation. I'm truly tired of trying to enlighten people that get their feelings hurt by facts. You know, those toxic types who prefer silencing you over debating you because they can't defend their ideas.

So I'm here, hoping for real discussions and lively debate about real topics.
