Thanks for this, I'll look into another option than quest 3. I don't mind the cables that much anyway.

I want to get started with VR gaming in Linux and am looking at a headset. What are you guys using? Oculus 3 seems to be popular but I assume there are some caveats.

I'd like to host my own container images centrally in my network so that I can both cache the images (if dockerhub or similar goes down) but also host my own images that I don't want public. Anyone doing this?

Love this type of content even though I am not interested in the car. Thanks for the writeup!

I'm getting real Lan party vibes with the multiplayer, truly recommend it! 👏

Any tips for a small bag that doesn't destroy my silhouette? A clutch would work but it's a bit annoying to carry.

Laced Records has announced that it will be releasing a new 6LP collection featuring music from across the Metal Gear Solid series. The collection, titled Metal Gear Solid: The Vinyl Collection, is available to pre-order now and will contain 53 tracks spanning from Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake for the MSX all the way up until Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

The collection includes notable tracks like "The Best Is Yet To Come", "Can't Say Goodbye To Yesterday", "Snake Eater", "Here's To You", and more. The set will come in a rigid board slipcase, containing six inner sleeves, and will also feature archival illustrations from the famous Japanese artist Yoji Shinkawa as well as a set of 6 multicoloured discs.

The official track listing is available on Laced Records' website, featuring music from various games in the series. The collection is expected to ship in October 2024 at the earliest.

What's your favourite track from the series?

Sharing PVC's seems like an anti pattern. My suggestion would be to share storage by having network storage instead like a NAS and share that with the same user in all Deployments. Generally for each *arr you need a /data and a /config so the data should be same location in the shared network solution. Check out https://hotio.dev/ for ready solutions which you only need to supply with the storage basically. Default settings works for me.

Wouldn't that be a pain to maintain?

[–] Procedure8295@lemmy.sdf.org 3 points 5 months ago

Sure but it works well and is stable.

Total Commander is really good for remote connections. It does dual pane.

Not for the same resilience as in glacier, it is pretty price effective.

That would be most helpful, thanks 🙏

I mean going fronm docker compose to a k8s setup. The Docker compose version is no problem.

The setup is pretty complex what with Elasticsearch so anything but the Docker Compose setup seems overwhelming... anyone got this working in k8s?

Cloud key Gen 2 Plus is about $200 and comes with a 2.5 inch 1TB hard drive so it is not that bad if you will have multiple cameras, but maybe not worth it just for one.

Is Gardena or Husqvarna still king or are the no-name whitebox rebrands catching up?

Of course something that works with Home assistant is a requirement.

The generations I currently do has the following workflow:

Start:

  • Text based image generation to find a good base image
  • Take output and scale it up 4x to get more pixels to work with

Circular part:

  • Image2Image inpaint mask, inpaint mask only with 1024x1024 to achieve more detail
  • Change text-prompt or add LORA to get specific results for the masked area
  • Save the resulting image, remove the mask and add another masked area on the new "updated" image

End:

  • When results are good enough, scale down by 2x and save the image

I can get the Start and End working, but the circular part where the output image is used as input doesn't seem to work in ComfyUI however I try to make it work without doing tons of manual steps.

Right now in Automatic1111 UI I can basically just send the output image to the next tab, or back to the inpaint image input when I'm happy with one of the masked results.

I'd love to be able to use the output as input in ComfyUI as well if that is possible.

I'm thinking about upgrading my relays and previously got recommendations for Qubino Mini but they don't seem to be available anymore.

What smart relays do you use? Preferably those that can both be used with and without the dimmer function. For the Partner-approval-factor it should of course be usable without the smart functions as well.

They are losing 1-0 to Swiss right now in the UEFA nations league and haven't won a game in I don't know how long.

What the hell happened to this team that used to be great in tournaments?

Discogs’ vibrant vinyl community is shattering A home for music diehards has been fractured by increased fees that are pushing sellers and shoppers to other platforms.

I as many others don't eat enough fish so I try to get a can of tuna in my system every other day. But it really kills me how dry and boring it tastes.

Anyoke got a good way to make it taste good? As low calorie as possible but I am willing to forfeit a bit of my dinner if I necessary.

Is there a packaged solution (ansible script or similar) to setup Wireguard in a jail to get access to the network from outside of the local network?
