I'm a big fan of stonerrock and doom, and a lot of bands within those genres have a tendency to remain pretty much the same, musically, lyrically and atmospherically. Bands like orange goblin, fu manchu, nebula, weedeater, acid king, bongzilla, sleep, dopelord, conan, etc. do not change that much about their music over time. Which is fine by me, not all bands have to reinvent themselves to remain interesting to me.
Yeah it's pretty weird how a lot of actors are cast to play russians, except people of actual russian background. I wonder why that is, holdover from cold war sentiment? or are there just too few Russian actors in hollywood?
Also, +1 for picking people up that fall down and holding up a shoe/pair of glasses/hat/etc. that you find on the ground.
The first time I went to a metal gig (Iced Earth) I lost my glasses and people actually stopped to help me look for them. Amazingly, they were unbroken.
this is the most important rule
1: No nasty spikes intended to harm 2: Someone falls, you pick em up 3: No aiming for the face 4: Don't keep in people who clearly want no part of the pit
Few things frustrate in the same way as technical difficulties, so I hope you don't have to suffer them for long. Here's to hoping you're fully on your digital feet again shortly!
doodling (it's both creative and a kind of meditation)
reading (physical books, usually before going to sleep)
playing bass (6 strings is too many)
TTRPG (preferably always in person)
Gulden Draak (spelling?)
You are correct :)
Joost mag het weten.
While it is possible for others who do not speak the language to be sufficiently fooled into believing he spoke it fluently, it would be really weird if a university lecturer would give lectures in a nonexistent language without anyone commenting on it.
many thanks!
