In the space of a week I've gone from "damn, they've actually made themselves favourites to make the 'loffs' to "somehow Pittsburgh returned" and I'm not pleased about it.
Is it considered a staycation if you get a caravan for a week? Or is that below the Guardian?
Yeah we've got some of this, although perhaps not as frustratingly bad as you guys.
She's very picky, but we've gotten to the point that we just cook what the other three of us eat and if she doesn't want it then so be it.
I should emphasize that we generally only eat what we know she likes, but for some reason she'll decide on a random wednesday that now she doesn't like peas and .....yeah okay.
Banana before bed I guess.
Don't know about how it is in the US, but in the UK the idea of people rushing to finish their transaction fills me with dread. I've worked in a supermarket with self service and the general public really struggles with them.
It was all good until I told my partner that she absolutely gets it from her. That did not go well for me 😬😬
I've been pretty desperate for some good 'Dad friends' for a while now but it's never happened. I only do pick up and drop offs once a week, and whilst people are friendly it's never gone any further than that. Sadness.
I agree with the sentiment, but I hope it doesn't go too hard on the Witcher vibes. That show, was...well not good.
There's a very narrow line that I hope they can tread that both tells an engaging and interesting story whilst also keeping it fun and approachable. I think the Witcher failed to walk that line.
It's happening. My eldest is six. And I've noticed that when it comes to being a stubborn git, she's definitely more her Mum than she is me.
She'll refuse to do the most benign things. Getting dressed and brushing her teeth is an absolute battle. Trying to get her to eat anything that's not a ketchup covered fish finger? An Impossibility. She's her Mum. Classic 'cutting off her nose to spite her face' sort of stuff.
Ay ay ay.
Firstly, Chorley.
Secondly, I should rewatch Phoenix Nights. It's been like twenty years, it's time.
As for where I'm from? Walkers Crisps and Pork Pies.
It appears we've come full circle in merely hoping Ovi scores. He did.
I watched that when it came out but the scene with the father and the tree is still firmly planted in my head.
