Yes I'm sure Valve will get Proton working, but regardless of the current Linux compatibility, these are lazy ports by Konami and they don't justify the price tag.
If anyone actually feels that way (repulsed by your conversation), then they're not a good person and you should try to find better friends... But perhaps they don't actually feel that way, and it's something that your anxiety is convincing you is the case when it isn't? I think we tend to assign too much weight to our perception of how others judge us, whereas in reality the other person is probably too hung up on what they're going to say to actually notice or worry about our errors. Go out, be clumsy and make mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes in real life.
That's clever! For something where you need a keyboard constantly that seems like a good solution. (Although for a game like that I'd have thought an actual keyboard would be kinda the point lol)
Bark bark woof!
*Mario ooooff noise *
Bark!
I can relate to a lot of this. I think much of it is a cycle - not engaging in a conversation because of social anxiety and as a result not gaining the necessary experience to improve, so it continues. The only way out is to push yourself, even when it's uncomfortable. Just say what comes to your mind, don't overthink things. I'm trying to get better at it myself.
As a side note, I've met the Tirrel (the animator of that video) in passing in real life. They seem really nice :3
Damn, I really want a decent way to play 2&3 on Deck. Given the lazy ports, I'm tempted to wait for some updates to fix things and then find alternative methods of obtaining these.
Thank you! I'll see if I can get it running at some point in the near future :)
Ah thanks - are you aware of any essential bug/stability fixes I should go for in particular?
Some Cheddar and Red Leicester. The Red Leicester from Aldi is surprisingly good! It has more of a tang to it than other variants I've tried - like a cross between a mild stilton and the creaminess of double Gloucester.
The different mod loaders really confuse me. Do Vortex and MO2 offer pretty much the same thing? Will it show on Steam that I'm playing Skyrim/New Vegas etc. and log my hours ok (rather than saying I'm playing the mod loader)?
Follow up question: What mods should I get for Fallout NV if I were to try this out? (I've never actually finished that game)
The game looks ok, but you're just kinda spamming at this point? 🤷♂️ This is just an advert, not really a discussion.
Did they say why they wouldn't talk to you again?
