I always do Four Kings dead last during endgame so I don't have to fight Sif until I'm putting out damage fast enough to basically skip the limping phase.
My girlfriend refuses to watch the Sif fight no matter what, just in case I that screw up.
She doesn't want to fight you even if you don't do the DLC first. She just wants to protect anyone from going into the Abyss like Artorias did because she's a good girl.
If you do the DLC first, she does recognize you and sniff you before the fight starts. It's hard enough to fight her without having to see that scene. Manus is usually the fight I save for last anyway, thankfully.
