This was from a Reddit answer

The first few days are the worst part. I typed this up earlier for someone else, may be helpful for you too

CBD is very helpful and doesn’t affect the neurotransmitters the same way as delta 9

One method is to taper off thc d9 using a good flower vape, not cartridge vape, for a couple days of just good d9 flower.. Then mix d9 flower with some good CBD flower 1:1 mix, vape that for a couple days then 1:3 d9:cbd mix flower vaped for day or so. Then only cbd flower vaped. You could be very uncomfortable at times, but tell yourself * it’s mostly in your head and part of the process. Stay very hydrated. Take NAC supplement on rise and before bed on an empty stomach. During the day, exhaust yourself for a couple hours with workouts or other physical activity. At night Benadryl is great for sleep. After 72hrs of no d9 and only cbd you will feel much better

Search cbd on this sub and you can see many people use it to help with withdraws from thc

Good luck!

** I used to get bad physical symptoms from withdrawal during much needed tbreaks bc I would try cold turkey. Night sweats, anxiety, dissociation, no appetite, couldn’t sleep for shit. The more often I did tbreaks, the more I knew what to expect and came up with the above process that really helps. This is why I think, at least for myself, it’s mostly in your head because you are uncomfortable adjusting to the lack of dopamine and serotonin. NAC, working out and tapering down with CBD has been a game changer for me
