Nearly.

There are multiple forms of YouTube links. Eg, for me, the above resolves to https://m.youtube.com/watch?si=MaumrkrJUYQAbdxy&v=ylhsbfQTPDQ&feature=youtu.be

The ?v=randomstuff is required. Anytime you see si=blahblah, or anything else, it is not required

Can't everyone not the driver rest their hat on their lap?

[–] No1@aussie.zone 1 points 4 days ago (4 children)

Hmmmm. If there were only some way of being in a car with a hat without having it on your head.

Not sure. It's not uncommon for no Libs or Labs in some electorates....

Many of these initiatives have to be set in train now to gain the benefits in five or ten years’ time

It's longer than an election cycle, so we can't start it or the other mob might be in government when it's completed and they take the credit.

I got my democracy sausage and bacon & egg sanga.

Pretty good value. Snag + onions on 2 pieces of bread (and choice of sauces) was $3.50, and bacon & egg on 2 pieces of bread (choice of sauces) was $4. They didn't skimp on the bacon either 😋

Oh yeah, and I voted while I was out getting my food 😁

XXXX should hit X with a copyright and trademark breach and have the whole thing shut down lol

My electorate has all independents. ie they are all scared as shit to align with any party.

Also, they set up a 'group' so they get to have an above the line vote. Every one of these has one male and one female.

The information available about most of these candidates is feeble.

It's fucking embarrassing.

I thought maybe someone was marking cars that had been highlighted on Dashcam Owners Australia, but apparently not....

Thank God resources have been allocated for a strike force! One poor victim got the paint off with WD40, but the trauma will last forever!

Twins in a pram rolled onto the track at Carlton.

Terrible.

I use old.reddit.com, and had trouble logging in from there today. "Too many redirects". I also use the Redirect to old.reddit.com extension. When I disabled that, the login link it now takes you to is https://www.reddit.com/login/. That, of course, takes you to www.reddit.com.

The old 'popup' login box has been removed. I also noticed that the in sub logins where they used to have username/password entry boxes have been removed.

More reddit enshitification to try and make us use their horrible UI.

He's passed EVERY test. He's more Aussie than anyone I know!

Hope you're enjoying yourself, and have a great 2024!

Hope everyone has an exciting or relaxing Christmas. Whichever one they wished for!

And be safe in your travels.

I thought that the media was a little over the top with reporting every electric car fire.

Little did I realise just how blown out of proportion it was:

"...electric vehicle battery fires are rare. Indeed, the available data indicate the fire risk is between 20 and 80 times greater for petrol and diesel vehicles. "

Great little piece that hits a surprising range of emotions

So, it appears the first SMR project in the US was scrapped due to rising costs.

An Aussie SMR would take 10-15 years before even being online and we'd be the guinea pigs.

Perhaps it's time to pivot to technology already available and that can be implemented in the short term?

Brilliant troll. Better than Santa Claus

I wonder if other LNP state parties might follow?
