TIL that millennial dads are spending 3 times as much times with their kids than their fathers spent with them. Back in 1982, 43% of fathers admitted they'd never changed a diaper. Today, that number in c/TodayILearned@kbin.social

Its probably a subconscious thing, but I spend lots of time with my child BECAUSE both my parents didn't spend time with me and I miss what I didn't have. Plus, I just love my child and naturally want to spend time with them.
