Liberté totale de se payer écran de chargement sur écran de chargement.

A l’heure actuelle, No Man’s Sky est un bien meilleur jeu.

Lvl 1 fighter directly multi class into a Fiend Warlock. Now you have a warlock in heavy armor and with 2h fighting style at the cost of a single level.

At lvl 6 (lvl 1 fighter, lvl 5 warlock), you’re an absolute monster at everything.

Also doable with paladin instead of fighter but I don’t really see the point since I already have enough spells as it. I prefer to have an additional action point thx for fighter.

Except they didn’t. Even more than before, you need vulnerable and crit on everything to compensate because they are in different buckets.

They lowered the build variety.

Lowering numbers doesn’t fix anything here, it’s the formula itself which need to be changed. Or they could put diminishing returns so people would use vulnerable / crit until they hit those caps and use other stats for the rest.

Right now, the only thing they achieves is lowering dps for every single build.

I don’t have any sympathy for people working in companies like Nestlé, why would I be compassionate for people working at Ubisoft making shitty UIs who complains about Elden Ring success ?

With your point of view, nobody is ever responsible of anything including people working for dictatorships or the worse, because they also have loans and families and need to provide for them.

Pretty sure nobody forces them to work for shitty AAA studios obsessed with milking as much as possible their customers.

If you like rogue-like and card games, I would advise you to try Inscryption! It even has a neat story with plot twist that completely change the game.

I can understand the point for tiny studios or indie games.

AAA studios on the other hand are pathetic to cry about it, they have the money, the reknown and the time to make quality games and not shitstains and decide not to.

Time to be held accountable and suffer the comparison. FromSoftware was able to make a massive great game just like Larian. Activision, EA, Ubisoft, Epic Games have no excuses.

With one hour a day, you won’t make any progress at all with the nerfs to XP gains and base stats / vuln / crit / crit dmg and it’ll just discourage you to play at all.

You’re making the same excuses as Bethesda fanboys for the shitstain that was Fallout 76.

With a game like Divinity or BG3, an hour will be enough to do one or maybe two flesh out quests with meaningful impact.

I’m not a 20yo teenager with a lot of free time either so if I spend time on a game, it needs to be meaningful otherwise what’s the point of playing it instead of Candycrush?

Don’t worry, Baldur’s Gate 3 is around the corner and it seems it will be the new RPG gold standard of the decade.

Devs from other companied are whining about it, including Blizzard, because players are gonna compare what Larian is capable to do with their own work and they know they don´t stand a chance.

Hollow Knight and Starfield are coming soon too.

I’m planning on not playing this season and wait until Blizzard try to make the game fun again.

Until that time (probably season 3, or never), I have Baldur’s Gate 3, Starfield and Hollow Knight to have fun.

Agreed but if they want people to use other affixes, first they need to remove a lot of them.

One of the main point of an aRPG is looting, if you can’t figure out easily if a loot is an upgrade or not, you’ve done a shitty job with your game.

[–] Matharl@lemmy.world 6 points 1 year ago

Thanks for showing my point about too many affixes.

Explain to me how you’re gonna know if your current sword with vuln/crit/crit dmg is better or worse than the new shinny drop with +cutthroat/crit/trap for a rogue.

Hint : You can’t without testing, and how are you gonna do that without enchanting + reroll 1 affix ? We didn’t have that many affixes in Diablo 2 LoD and surprise, nobody complained !

What’s gonna happen is the players who’ve gonna keep playing the game will use websites like « Ask Mr Robot » everytime they get loot.
