Old metal Terminator upscale to this new model

I positively adore these upscaled Terminators

Yeah too third edition 'eavy metal, I see it now

Two Kastelan Robots, very different painting method. Is the Dull-coloured one too boring or is the Bright one too bright?

Vahl attended a safety seminar and now wears a helmet. No amount of faith makes the human face bulletproof. Close the visor, lady.

The base is covered in 'Blood for the blood God' paint, I'll be extending a hint of gore to the spider once the metal is 'aged'.

Either a Rogue trader or 40k 1st edition model, it took days soaking in iso alcohol plus an hour in an ultrasonic cleaner to clean the 'kindergartener' paint job off

I have been collecting and painting since 1996, I have -far too many- old minis, I'll keep uploading them as I take them out of storage and give them a thorough dusting

Classic 40k Terminator Captain, I wish I had a way to upscale this mini. I'll probably stick it on top of a taller+wider base. Needs more Nuln oil!

Metal has always been a pain to prepare for painting, still feeling the nostalgia after painting it

2nd edition Arbites with Grenade launcher

Forgeworld Chaplain Dreadnought, great find at a garage sale- former owner has piles of old 2-7th edition 40k. Maybe real and maybe a fake (it came in a Forgeworld ziplock bag)

Need to find a way to make the purity seal ribbons stand out
